Diving with a species
The seven sites for the lion's mane jellyfish are the coldest in this family: Svalbard is dived under ice at −1 °C, the Saguenay Fjord sits at 4 and Strýtan, in Iceland, at 5, over a hydrothermal chimney rising from 70 metres. Trondheimsfjord goes down to 80 metres for cold-water corals and requires technical certification, as does Saltstraumen.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
