Diving with a species
The twelve sites for the New Zealand fur seal are temperate to cold water, between 12 and 22 °C, split between New Zealand and southern Australia. Fiordland and Stewart Island are the coldest at 12 °C; the Poor Knights hold the largest sea cave in the world; and White Island is dived over an active volcano. None goes below 30 metres.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
