The ten areas for the blue sheep add up to more than 57,000 km² of Himalaya and Tibet: the Qomolangma reserve contributes 33,800, Annapurna 7,629, Hemis 4,400 and Jigme Dorji 4,316. Four are World Heritage — the Great Himalayan National Park, Nanda Devi, Sagarmatha and the Valley of Flowers — and they cover Nepal, India, Bhutan and China.
