Where to see a species
The giraffe is vulnerable and the nineteen areas where it is documented add up to more than 90,000 km² of savannah: Kruger at 19,623, Hwange at 14,651 and Chobe at 11,700. The Okavango Delta, Moremi and Mapungubwe are World Heritage, and the Sir Bani Yas reserve, in the United Arab Emirates, is the only one outside Africa.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
