The sixteen places for the Atlantic salmon are rivers and mountains of Britain, Ireland, Atlantic Canada and Iceland: Vatnajökull contributes 14,141 km², the Cairngorms 4,528 and Gros Morne 1,805; Vatnajökull and Gros Morne are World Heritage, as is Northumberland. Loch Ness is the only dive site, and Connemara, at 29 km², the smallest.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
