The four dives for the channel catfish are all fresh water and all in the United States: three Florida springs and caverns — Crystal River, Devil's Den and Ginnie Springs, with 20 to 30 metres of visibility and 22 °C year-round — and a flooded quarry, White Star Quarry, which drops to 15 °C and is only dived from May to October. None goes below 30 metres.
