Diving with a species
Thirty-two sites in fifteen countries for the giant clam, and the spread says a lot: Australia contributes nine and Indonesia seven, nearly all coral reefs and lagoons under 30 metres. Seven are World Heritage, all on the Great Barrier Reef — Agincourt, Cod Hole, Flynn Reef, Heron Island, Lady Elliot, Norman Reef and the Whitsundays. Only four require advanced certification.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
