Diving with a species
The five sites for the giant Pacific octopus lie on the north-west coast of America and all hover around 9-13 °C: two cold-water walls — Browning Pass and Neah Bay — two fjords — Great Bear Rainforest and Puget Sound — and the Monterey kelp forest. Four of the five require advanced Open Water and none goes below 25 metres.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
