Where to see a species
The ten wetlands for the white pelican are spread between the Atlantic Sahel, the Danube Delta and the African Rift: the Banc d'Arguin contributes 12,000 km² and the delta 5,800, and with the Djoudj sanctuary those three are World Heritage. Prespa, at 45 km², is the smallest, and Lake Nakuru and Queen Elizabeth close the eastern block.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
