Where to see a species
The seven places for the great cormorant ring the Baltic, and one escapes across the Atlantic: the Apostle Islands, on Lake Superior. The rest are Donau-Auen and Müritz on land, the Curonian Spit — World Heritage and transboundary — and three dive sites, the Turku archipelago, the Gdansk wrecks and Rügen.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
