Where to see a species in a country
The humphead wrasse is endangered, and of the 14 Australian places where it is documented, eleven are World Heritage sites — a proportion no other guide in this catalogue matches. Twelve are dives, nearly all on the Great Barrier Reef — Cod Hole, the Agincourt Reefs, Flynn Reef, Heron Island, Lady Elliot Island — plus Ningaloo in the west and the Cocos Islands.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
