Bernardo O'Higgins covers 35,259 km² and Laguna San Rafael another 17,420: the seven places for the imperial shag add up to more than 54,000 km² of southern Patagonia. At the other end sits the Los Pingüinos natural monument, on Magdalena Island, at 0.9 km², the smallest place in this family of guides.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
