Where to see a species
The nine areas for the Indian rock python run across the Indo-Gangetic plain and the delta: the Sundarbans appear twice — the Indian park, World Heritage, and the Bangladeshi forest reserve — and with Kaziranga, Keoladeo and Chitwan they make four World Heritage sites. Periyar and Tadoba-Andhari reach down into peninsular India. The species is near threatened.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
