Where to see a group in a country
Of the three monkeys documented in Costa Rica, Geoffroy's spider monkey is endangered; the mantled howler and the white-faced capuchin are of Least Concern. The 12 parks recording them cover both slopes of the country: Corcovado and Santa Rosa on the Pacific, Tortuguero and Cahuita on the Caribbean, and Monteverde, Braulio Carrillo, Rincón de la Vieja, Barra Honda and La Amistad in between.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
