Where to see a species
The white rhinoceros is near threatened and five of the eight parks where it is documented are in South Africa and Zimbabwe: Kruger at 19,623 km², iSimangaliso and Matobo — both World Heritage — Hluhluwe-iMfolozi and Marakele. Of the other three, two are Kenyan, Lake Nakuru and Meru, and the Waterberg Plateau completes the list from Namibia.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
