Wildlife by group and country
Three of the four birds Thailand documents in its parks are hornbills, and one of them — the helmeted — is critically endangered. The two largest parks are World Heritage: Kaeng Krachan, at 2,915 km², and Khao Yai, at 2,168. Khao Sok and Phu Kradueng complete a list that adds up to more than 6,000 km² of forest.
