Wildlife by group and country
Three of Puerto Rico's five places are dives — Culebra, Desecheo and Mona Island, with its 40-metre oceanic wall — and they supply the hawksbill and green turtles. The other two are forests: El Yunque, the national forest, and Guánica, a biosphere reserve and dry forest. From there comes the Puerto Rican boa, the list's only land reptile.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
