Where to see a species
The fifteen areas for the black stork trace its migration between central Europe and the Iberian Peninsula: Białowieża and Belovezhskaya Pushcha, the same forest split by the Polish-Belarusian border, contribute 1,500 km² each; and at the southern end sit Monfragüe, Cabañeros, the Douro Internacional and the Sierra de Guadarrama. Four are World Heritage.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
