Where to see a species
The thirteen areas for the blue wildebeest add up to more than 178,000 km² of southern and eastern savannah: the Central Kalahari at 52,800, Kgalagadi at 38,000, Nyerere at 30,893, Etosha at 22,270 and Kruger at 19,623. The Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Nyerere are World Heritage, and with the Maasai Mara they make up the great migration circuit.
