Where to see a species in a country
The golden eagle occupies a very recognisable band of the United States: of the 21 parks where it is documented, a good many are the canyons of the Colorado Plateau — Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, the Grand Canyon — and the rest run north to Badlands, Glacier, Denali and Gates of the Arctic. Three are World Heritage sites.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
