Where to see a species
Five of the six wetlands for the Spanish terrapin are in Spain — Doñana, Tablas de Daimiel, the Ebro Delta, Cabañeros and Monfragüe — and the sixth is Ichkeul, in Tunisia, across the strait. Ichkeul and Tablas are World Heritage, and Tablas, at 30 km², is the smallest. The species is vulnerable.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
