Where to see a species
The white-backed vulture is critically endangered and the eight parks where it is documented add up to more than 63,000 km² of savannah in six countries: Kruger, Hwange and the Serengeti are the largest; Pendjari and W National Park, in West Africa, are World Heritage as are the Serengeti and Mapungubwe. Hell's Gate, at 68 km², is the smallest.
