Wildlife by group and country
Only three raptors for nine parks, but each belongs to a different tier: the Andean condor in Huascarán, 3,400 km² of the Cordillera Blanca; the black-and-chestnut eagle, endangered, in the cloud-forest edge of Río Abiseo and Yanachaga-Chemillén; and the harpy eagle in the lowlands of Manu, Tambopata and Alto Purús. Three of the nine are World Heritage.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
