Fish in Ecuador

Six of Ecuador's seven places are World Heritage and five are declared marine protected areas: all are Galápagos except El Cajas, the Andean páramo that supplies the only freshwater species, the rainbow trout. Darwin and Wolf are the two pelagic walls where the Galapagos shark and the whale shark gather.
