Three of Kenya's four sites are declared marine parks — Watamu, Malindi and Kisite-Mpunguti — and the fourth is the tidal channel of Watamu Turtle Watch. None goes below 25 metres. Only three species are linked, and two of them are endangered: the whale shark and the humphead wrasse.
