Wildlife by group and country
The Peruvian yellow-tailed woolly monkey is critically endangered and lives in Río Abiseo, World Heritage: it is the species that separates this list from any other Amazonian one. The other three primates — the red-faced black spider monkey, the red howler and the night monkey — are spread across the eight parks, which add up to more than 93,000 km², with Alto Purús and Pacaya-Samiria leading.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
