Wildlife by group and country
The Mahale Mountains and Gombe Stream are the two Lake Tanganyika parks, and from them comes the chimpanzee, endangered. The Udzungwa Mountains supply the red colobus that bears their name, also endangered and found in no other guide. Kilimanjaro, World Heritage, and Mikumi, the largest at 3,230 km², complete the six.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
