Where to see a species
The eight places for the common crane trace its migration route from north to south: Lahemaa and Aukštaitija on the Baltic, the Curonian Spit, Müritz and Store Mosse in the centre and north, Neusiedler See and Hortobágy on the Pannonian plain, and Cabañeros in Spain, where it winters. Three are World Heritage.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
