Where to see a group in a country
Two deer are documented in the parks of the United States: the mule deer and the sika deer. The 24 areas recording them are mostly in the arid west — Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Badlands, Big Bend — with Assateague Island on the Atlantic coast and Crater Lake and Carlsbad Caverns at the far ends. Three are World Heritage sites.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
