Where to see a group in a country
Three different marmots — the yellow-bellied marmot of the Rockies, the hoary marmot and the Olympic marmot — are documented in 16 parks across the United States, and the list is almost all mountain country: Glacier, Grand Teton, Denali, Katmai, Crater Lake, Lassen Volcanic, Great Basin, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Four are World Heritage sites.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
