Where to see a species
The eleven areas for the saltwater crocodile trace its range from northern Australia to the Bay of Bengal: Kakadu contributes 19,804 km², Tanjung Puting 4,150 and Nitmiluk 2,920. Five are World Heritage, among them the Sundarbans, the Rock Islands of Palau and Daintree. Nino Konis Santana, in Timor-Leste, is that country's only one.
