Thailand documents the hawksbill turtle, critically endangered, and the green turtle, endangered, at 11 places spread across its two seas. On the Andaman side are the Similan and Surin islands, Koh Phi Phi, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang and Koh Ha; in the gulf, Koh Tao and Chumphon Pinnacle. Ten of the eleven are dives.
