Mu Ko Surin National Park. The park is open only from 15 October to 15 May and may close earlier depending on sea conditions
The name comes from a Danish officer called Richelieu who served in the Royal Thai Navy. Cousteau is often credited with discovering and naming the site, but that version is disputed: Cousteau never went north of Koh Bon, which lies south of the Surin Islands. The Thai name is Hin Plo Naam.
