Wildlife by group and country
Five molluscs and nine dive sites that share neither ocean nor even salinity: the giant Pacific octopus at Puget Sound and Neah Bay; the Humboldt squid and the great scallop on the coast; and the zebra mussel in the freshwater wrecks of Isle Royale and Thunder Bay, in the Great Lakes. The Andrea Doria, at 70 metres, is the deepest.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
