Equatorial Guinea's nine threatened primates belong to the lowland forest, and five of them are endangered: the chimpanzee, the drill, the western red colobus, the red-capped mangabey and Preuss's monkey. The western gorilla is critically endangered. The mandrill, the black colobus and the grey-cheeked mangabey close the list.
