Where to see a group in a country
Five sharks are documented in Australia and only one of them sits outside a threat category: the whale shark and the grey reef shark are endangered, the silky shark is Vulnerable, and the tiger and bull sharks are Near Threatened. The 13 places split into eight dives and five parks — Ningaloo, Osprey Reef, Cod Hole, the Agincourt Reefs, the Great Barrier Reef, the Cocos Islands — and nine are World Heritage sites.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
