Wildlife by group and country
Eleven British national parks and five raptors, and not one of the eleven is marine: the Cairngorms, at 4,528 km², is the largest and the one that carries the golden eagle; Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons, the red kite; and the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, the hen harrier. Northumberland, World Heritage, and the peregrine falcon complete the list.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
