Wildlife by group and country
India's four sites cover three seas: the Andamans in the Bay of Bengal, Lakshadweep in the Arabian Sea, and Goa and Netrani on the west coast. Visibility separates them — up to 20 metres in the Andamans, 8 at Goa — and among the five species are the whale shark and the humphead wrasse, both endangered, plus the reef manta ray.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
