Mgahinga Gorila

Declared in 1991, Mgahinga is the smallest national park in Uganda and forms part of the Virunga volcanic massif, shared with neighbouring Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with no physical borders for wildlife between the three countries. It is one of the few places in the world where both the mountain gorilla and the golden monkey can be tracked, the latter a primate endemic to this volcanic range.
