Threatened reptiles of Spain
- 9 species
- Critically Endangered: 1
- Endangered: 3
- Vulnerable: 5
Spain's nine threatened reptiles are three sea turtles, three freshwater turtles or land tortoises, one viper and two wall lizards — Lilford's and Cyren's, both endangered. That presence of lizards is unusual in this family of guides, where nearly everything is turtles. Kemp's ridley is the only critically endangered case.
