Wildlife by group and country
Ecuador's nine areas add up to more than 25,000 km² and cover the country's three worlds: the volcanoes of Cotopaxi, Antisana and Cayambe Coca, with the Andean condor; the Churute mangroves, with the osprey; and Yasuní, 9,823 km² of Amazonia with the harpy eagle. Sangay is World Heritage.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
