Wildlife by group and country
Two of Norway's eight areas lie in Antarctica — Peter I Island and Bouvet Island — and from there come four of the eleven birds: the Adelie penguin, the chinstrap, the macaroni and the Antarctic petrel. The other six are mainland plateaux and mountains, with the rock ptarmigan, the dotterel and the white-tailed eagle; Lofoten adds the diving.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
