Wildlife by group and country
Canaima covers 30,000 km², more than 87% of this list's area, and is World Heritage. The six carnivores run from the jaguar and the giant otter — endangered — to the Andean bear of the Sierra Nevada de Mérida. Morrocoy, the smallest at 320 km², contributes the crab-eating raccoon, and Henri Pittier completes the set.
