A crescent-shaped volcanic crater, partly submerged, rising some 49 m above the water. It is what remains of one of the area's prehistoric volcanoes. Inside the sheltered bay there is a shallow, calm hard coral garden; outside, the back wall is a vertical drop dived as a drift.
