Wildlife by group and country
The Bangweulu Wetlands are the reason this list includes the shoebill, which is vulnerable and appears in almost no other; with the wattled crane, also vulnerable, they are the two species that require marsh. Kafue, at 22,400 km², is the largest of Zambia's five parks, and South Luangwa adds another 9,050.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
