Wildlife by group and country
Ten fish and nine places running from Atlantic reef to fresh water: Fernando de Noronha, World Heritage, appears both as a marine park and as a dive site; the Pantanal and Anavilhanas supply the red piranha and the arapaima. Four of the ten are sharks, with the Caribbean reef shark endangered.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
