A threatened group in a country
Russia's thirteen threatened birds span the country end to end: Blakiston's eagle-owl and the red-crowned crane in the east, Steller's sea eagle on the North Pacific, the snowy owl and the Atlantic puffin in the Arctic, and the houbara bustard on the southern steppes. The Siberian crane is the only critically endangered case.
