Threatened reptiles of Taiwan

Of Taiwan's eight threatened reptiles, four are sea turtles and two are freshwater, the South-East Asian box turtle and the Chinese softshell. The other two are not turtles at all: the Sunda gharial, a narrow-snouted crocodilian, and the king cobra. The hawksbill is the only critically endangered one.
