Canyonlands

Declared in 1964, it is the largest and least developed of Utah's five national parks, split into three remote districts by the physical confluence of the Colorado and Green rivers at the park's heart, which makes it all but impossible to move between its sections without leaving the park and driving hours around. Its Island in the Sky district, on a raised mesa, offers panoramas routinely compared to those of the Grand Canyon for their sheer scale.
