A threatened group in a country
Three of Chile's thirteen threatened birds are critically endangered and two of them come from the Juan Fernández archipelago: its firecrown and the Masafuera rayadito. The rest describes an extremely long coastline — four penguins and three albatrosses — plus the Andean condor and the Andean flamingo from the mountains.
